Faculty of
Agriculture:
This Faculty
was established in 1987 in response
to the
community's need for highly-trained professionals with the necessary
agricultural engineering skills to develop and enhance local agriculture. With
its three-pronged objective
of education,
research, and community service, the Faculty of Agriculture not only trains
qualified professionals, but also sponsors applied research and conducts
extensive outreach,
visiting farmers throughout the Hebron region in order to answer questions and
teach new techniques.
The
Faculty of Agriculture offers programs leading to B.Sc. degrees in the
following
areas:
1. Plant
Production and Protection
2. Animal
Production and Protection
3. Soil
Science and Irrigation
4. Nutrition
and Food Technology
5. Agricultural Economics and Extension
In addition,
the faculty offers two programs leading to
M.Sc. degrees in:
1. Plant Protection
2. Natural
Agricultural Resources and Sustainable Management
Furthermore,
our graduates are accepted as members of the Arab Agricultural Engineering
Association in addition to the Jordanian as well as Palestinian Agricultural
Engineering Associations.
