The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Ireland has operated the Irish Aid Fellowship Training Programme (IAFTP) for more than 40 years. The programme aims to strengthen the capacity of our development partner organisations in countries benefiting from Irish Aid support, through the provision of higher education study opportunities. It has been decided this year to broaden the eligibility criteria to include other civil society organisations in Palestine, ahead of the launch next year of a new scholarship programme for Palestinians. For the 2018-2019 academic year, we will offer a number of fellowship awards to successful candidates to further their education in Ireland. You will find attached herewith an announcement of the Irish Aid Fellowship Training Programme, along with a note on the eligibility criteria and the course directory.
