In collaboration with the Department of Biomedical Physics of the College of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences at Hebron University, the Alumni Unit organized a training workshop on Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) for CT Scanners. 

 

Led by Dr. Bassam Abu Arqoub, the workshop attracted representatives from the Syndicate of Medical Physicists in Palestine, the Student Scientific Research Committee, and alumni from the HU Department of Biomedical Physics.

 

The workshop emphasized the importance of medical physicists' regular QA and QC tests, aiming to enhance participants’ technical skills in maintaining the accuracy and effectiveness of CT scanners. 

 

Attendees found the workshop valuable for improving their understanding of quality assurance procedures, contributing to better medical imaging services, and increasing diagnostic safety and efficiency.

 

This initiative aligns with the Alumni Unit’s mission to equip graduates with the skills to transition into the labor market and strengthen connections between educational institutions and the Palestinian workforce.
