TOEFL Test Preparation Course at Hebron University

Course Description: This course is designed for those interested in taking the TOEFL test and learning the general test strategies with the help of experienced English language instructors. This course will help learners improve their English language skills to navigate effectively between the four test sections (Reading, Listening, Speaking and Writing) and familiarize them with useful tips to get ready for the TOEFL test. The course will also familiarize learners with the assessment method used in the exam and how to use the TOEFL test scores for employment, study, visas and scholarships. Learners will have the opportunity to study many of the original TOEFL test questions, and take a complete test practice.

Requirements: Learners should have

• at least an intermediate level of English proficiency, and
• good computer skills to meet the requirements of the TOEFL internet based test (iBT) test 

Course Instructors: Mr. Abd El-Karim Haddad & Dr. Mohammad Farrah 

Course Venue: Hebron University (classroom and language lab)

Curriculum: The course material is available at the Academic Bookshop, Hebron University

Course Duration: 

• Intensive Mode: 5 weeks - 3 meetings/ week x 3 hrs each meeting = 45 hours total 
• Regular Mode: 7.5 weeks - 2 meetings/week x 3 hrs. each meeting = 45 hours total 

Course Times: Classes will take place weekday evenings

Number of Learners per course/ class: 15-20 (Places are limited!)

Cost Per Person: NIS 750 (10% discount for HU students). This cost does not include the price of the course book/study material, nor the registration fee for the TOEFL iBT test.
