Internship Vacancy at the Public Relations

The Public Relations Department at Hebron University is searching for a motivated intern to work in the department. The tasks of the internship includes, but not limited to:


Skills:

  •  Excellent written and spoken Arabic; Upper-Intermediate/Advanced English language skills (writing , reading and conversation)
  •  Computer skills, including knowledge of MS Office, handling of databases, and website management
  •  Excellent communication skills; ability to work in a team
  •  Dedication and flexibility

Job purpose

To assist the Public Relations Office and Grants Office in writing up visits for the Hebron University website, doing research, identifying funding sources, and data input

Period:
3 months – full time to start immediately, with possibility for further employment
Continuous feedback and evaluation throughout the period of work. Depending on the quality of work, the volunteer will receive a letter of recommendation or experience at the end of  their internship

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Public Relations Office and Grants Office in writing, editing, filling templates and organizing documents as required
  • Search for new funding and grant opportunities
  • Translation of documents
  • Communications with relevant HU staff as required.
  • Travel as required
  • Dealing with post
  • Reception duties
  • Using office equipment such as printers and photocopiers.
  • Taking meeting minutes and photos
  • Reports, media and advocacy activity
