الملخص:

ان النظرة العلمية لاستعمال الطب البديل فيعلا جالأمراض في تقدم مستمرعلى المستويين الطبي والشعبي وذلك لسهولة الحصول عليه ولقلة ما يخلفه من اثار جانبية قد تضر بالمريض مقارنة مع ما يخلفه العلاج بالطب الحديث ويعد العلاج بالعطور من اسرع انواع الطب البديل انتشارا في الاوساط الطبية والشعبية، وذلك لسرعة  تأثيره على النفس والمزج ولسهولة استعماله في العيادة والبيت، وفي الاماكن العمل المختلفة .يقدم هذا البحث مراجعة دقيقة من الناحيتين العلمية والدينية للتداوي بالعطور وخلصت الدراسة الى اهمية التداوي بالعطور كونها علاجا مساندا وملطفا، للعلاجات الاخرى وليس بديلا عنها وبنت الدراسة ان هناك اسهامات عريقة من قبل العلماء المسلمين في تطور العلاج بالزيوت الطرية.

Abstract:

The scientific outlook for the use of alternative medicine in treatment of diseases is in progress at both medical and public levels. This is due to the fact
that this type of medicine is cheaper, easy to use and has little side effects compared to conventional medicine. As a branch of alternative medicine,
aromatherapy is considered as the most developing one because of its positive physiological and psychological effects on human’s health and for its
simple application in clinics, hospitals, houses, and work places. This study provides an accurate review about aromatherapy from scientific and Islamic point of view. The study concluded that aromatherapy has a great value in medicine as a supporting and palliative treatment but not substitutive one. 

The study showed that contributions made by Muslim scholars led to theadvancing of aromatherapy.
