الملخص:

تعرض هذه الدراسة لنمو التيار الوطني في العراق وتطوره منذ نهاية الحرب العالمية الأولى، ولمجمل التأثيرات الفاعلة في تبلوره بالصيغة التي آل إليها عام 1941. كما وتكشف وثائقيا عن بعض الجوانب الفاعلة والعناصر الدافعة التي أدت إلى تأزم الموقف بين التيارين الرئيسين للحركة الوطنية العراقية بغض النظر عن الألقاب والصفات التي نعن كل طرف منها الآخر (سواء في بياناته أو مذكراته أو غيرها). لقد أفسحت محاولات تعزيز موقف كل طرف أمام الآخر المجال للتدخلات الأجنبية،وكانت النتائج قد تبلورت من خلال حركة رشيد عالي الكيلاني،والتي آمل أن تشكل محصلتها درسا تاريخيا مفيدا لنا في وقتنا الحاضر.


Abstract:

This paper studies the emergence and the development of the national stream in Iraq from the end of the 1^st World War, and examines the factors which influenced and shaped this stream in 1941. It also shows by documents some aspects and elements which caused the crisis between the two main streams of the Iraqi national movement regardless of the different titles and descriptions which each side of the movement said about the other side in its documents.

The efforts of the streams of the Iraqi national movement to strenghthen its position made the foreign interference more likely to happen. This was clear from Rashid Ali al-Kilani movement. The results of the study will hopefully benefit us in the present time.
