Abstract:

This paper discusses the case of elderly women at the post- menstrual age, with no sexual desires, who are known as "Alqawaid". The aim of the study is to shed light on the licenses that Islam grants elderly women regarding their clothing in light of "Alqawaid" verse in surat "Anoor".The study starts by defining "Alqawaid". It then introduces Islam's position from elderly women, considering them people with special licenses due to their age. The study then discusses the rules for women dressing in Islam in ordinary cases followed by the licenses Islam granted to elderly women. 

The study showed that Islam takes into consideration the special conditions of elderly women، thus it reduces clothing limitations and restrictions.
