الملخص:

هدفت هذه الدراسة الى تبيان مستوى فهم طبيعة العلم لدى الطلبة  الصف العاشر الاساسي في مدارس جنوب الخليل، ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة قام الباحثان بتصميم اداة الدراسة التي تمثلت في اختبار لقياس مستوى فهم الطلبة لطبيعة العلم. وقد تم التحقيق من صدق الاداة بعرضها على عدد من اساتذة الجامعات والمختصين في التربية ، اما ثبات الاداة فقد تم التحقيق منه عن طريق تطبيقهما على عينة استطلاعية من الطلبة غير تلك المشمولة في الدراسة ، ثم استخدمت معادلة كرونباخ الفا لحساب معامل الثبات للاختبار الذي بلغ (0.90) ثم طبقت الاداة على عينة مكونة من (469) طالبا وطالبة من طلبة الصف العاشر الاساسي من المدارس التابعة لمدرية التربية والتعليم في جنوب الخليل ، تم اختيارها بالطريقة العشوائية العنقودية، وبعد جمع البيانات وتحليلها باستخدام المتوسطات الحسابية والانحرافات المعيارية واختبار تحليل التباين الثنائي (  Two Way ANOVA) واخبارLSD)) ومعادلة كرونباخ الفا، توصلت الدراسة الى مستوى فهم الطلبة لطبيعة العلم متوسط .عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية في مستوى فهم الطلبة لطبيعة العلم وتعزى الى جنس الطلبة. وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α= 0.05) في مستوى فهم الطلبة لطبيعة العلم  تعزى الى مستوى التحصيل الطلبة ذوي التحصيل الممتاز. وجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية عند مستوي الدلالةα= 0.05)) في مستوى فهم الطلبة لطبيعة العلم  تعزى الى التفاعل بين الجنس ومستوى التحصيل لصالح الاناث ذوات التحصيل (ممتاز، جيد جدا، جيد، متوسط، مقبول)، ولصالح الذكور ذوي التحصيل ضعيف.

Abstract:

This study aimed at clarifying the basic 10th grade students’ level of understanding of the nature of science and whether there is a relationship bettween this understanding. To achieve the objective of the study, the researcheers designed the instrument, which consisted of a test to measure the level of understanding of the nature of the science. Experts and university professors specializing in education tested the validity of the test. The reliability was examined by Cronbach alpha and it was (0.90). The test was distributed on a sample which consisted of (469) students from the basic 10th grade who follow the Directorate of Education in Southern Hebron. The sample was chosen by the cluster random method. After the data collection, they were analyzed by using the means, the standard deviations, Two Way Analyzed of Variance and LSD test. The study revealed the following results: The level of the students’ understanding of the nature of the science is moderate. There were no significant differences in the students’ level of understanding of the nature of science due to gender. There were significant differences in the leveel of understanding of the students of the nature of science due to their level of achievement in favor of excellent. There were significant differences at due to the interaction between gender and achievement in favor of excellent, very good, good, medial and acceptable females and weak males in learning achievement. Based on the previous results the researcher arrived at some recommendations.
