Review

This study aims at identifying impediments to school sports in the northern directories as perceived by physical education teachers. The study is built on a pilot questionnaire that contained sample of (53) items distributed to (139) teachers, both males and females. The real sample comprised a total of (%85.8) out of the entire study sample. Statistical data were processed using the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS). The results showed that the facilities as impediments ranked first, while the local community role came second, the school community figured third and human resources came last. The study suggested many recommendations that can be taken into consideration by the PNA Ministry of Education.
