World Cancer Day at Hebron University

Patient Friends Society- Jerusalem and Baytna Community Center in Hebron in collaboration with the College of Nursing organized a World Cancer Day event on 4th of February. Students and faculty, as well as many cancer survivors attended the session which included a panel discussion with survivors followed by a short   play performed by HU students entitled ‘that disease’. Presenters stressed the importance of early detection and raising awareness by providing education and calling for national leadership on policies, legislation, investment and innovation to avoid millions of preventable deaths.
