College of Finance and Management organizes a closing conference of the World Bank-funded Competitiveness Enhancement Project

As part of the project to enhance the competitiveness of students of the College of Finance and Management funded by the World Bank, the College organized a closing conference in the presence of representatives of companies, the private sector, project partners, colleges deans and department chairmen.

At the beginning of the conference, a report was presented on the activities, events and outputs of the project as well as an explanation of the three paths developed at the College (the actuarial analysis track, the procurement and supply management track, the leadership path and project management).

Professor  Samir Abu Zneid, Dean of the College and Project Manager, expressed his gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the project, including the World Bank, the University administration, the faculty, partners and the project coordinator.

Speakers in the closing conference 

Topics discussed in the conference were presented by the representative of Hebron Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Engineer Tariq Jalal Al-Tamimi, Mr. Amer Osailah, President of the Business Forum,  and  Mr. Nassim Sultan, representative of the Palestinian Accountants Association and a member of the steering committee of the project.

The conference also included presenting success stories to a number of graduates and students of the three tracks. At the end of the conference, the project manager honored the partners' representatives for their efforts and active contribution to the success and achievement of the project's outputs.
