Department of Media Studies participates in the International Day for Universal Access to Information

The Department of Media Studies participated in the celebration of the International Day for Universal Access to Information at An-Najah National University, which is organized by the Department of Communication and Digital Media and in cooperation with Metropolitan University and with the support of UNESCO.

The department was represented by Dr. Saeed Shaheen, and a number of students.

The ceremony was attended by the heads of the media departments of Palestinian universities, the directors of a number of official and private media institutions, the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate, the director of Wafa News and Information Agency, the representative of the Norwegian government and the Metropolitan University.

Meetings included a special session for information students on the obstacles they experience in obtaining information on the completion of their work and press stories.
