Department of Plant Production and Prevention organizes scientific lectures on palm cultivation in Palestine

In cooperation with the Cooperative Society of Palm Growers in Jericho, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture, and the Palestinian Palm Council, the Department of Plant Production and Prevention at Hebron University organized scientific lectures on palm cultivation in Palestine.

Dr. Talaat Abu Rajab , Head of the Plant Production Department, welcomed the participants. Lectures were given on the reality of the palm sector in Palestine and the world, methods of date production from the beginning of cultivation until the packaging and grading operations in farms and companies, specifications and standards of Palestinian dates, quality, public safety and health safety related to date production.
