Hebron University receives Secretary-General of Association of Arab Universities

Hebron University received His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, Prof. Amr Ezzat Salama, and his accompanying delegation, where he was received by the Acting President of the University, Dr. Nabil Hasasneh, the Academic Vice President, the Administrative Vice President, the Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, the Dean of the College of Medicine, and the Dean of the College of Nursing.

Dr. Hasasneh welcomed the University guest and the accompanying delegation, conveying the greetings of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Nabil Al-Jabari, and then gave a brief presentation on the university's establishment, stages of development, academic programs, and academic relations.

His Excellency the Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities expressed his high appreciation and admiration for Hebron University. He then spoke about the Union's work and the various centers, councils, and projects of the Union that support higher education and scientific research in Arab countries, emphasizing the promotion of academic and research exchange between Arab countries.

The discussion concluded with the Acting President of the University thanking the Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities and the accompanying group for their courteous visit, and it was decided to deepen future collaboration between the Union and Palestinian universities. It is worth noting that Hebron University is a member of the Executive Council of the Association of Arab Universities during the Association of Arab Universities' fifty-fifth and fifty-sixth General Conferences.
