A Delegation from the French Consulate General Visits Hebron University

A delegation from the French Consulate General visited Hebron University, including Mr. Jean-Bernagh Boulevant, Head of the Cooperation Department at the French Consulate, Mrs. Maud Brier / in charge of University Cooperation at the French Consulate, Professor Vinson Michel, a specialist in archaeology at the University of Poitiers, and they were received by the Acting President of the University, the Vice President for Administrative Affairs and professors of the Department of Tourism, Antiquities and French Language. The Acting President started by presenting a detailed overview of the academic programs offered by the university, and a historical overview of the cooperation scope with the consulate. She also touched upon the University interest in consolidating the bonds of cooperation between Hebron University and French universities in all fields including the fields of tourism and antiquities.

The head of the cooperation department at the consulate, Mr. John Bernagh Polvain, spoke about the consulate’s readiness to cooperate with the university in light of the difficult circumstances that the country is going through. The guest delegation then went to the French Language Resource Center and a working meeting was held on ways of cooperation between French universities and Hebron University in the field of tourism and antiquities in the presence of the Head of the Department of Tourism and Antiquities, Mr. Mohamed Al-Adarba and Dr. Adnan Abu Dayyeh and Dr. Ibrahim Malouki from the French Language Resource Center. It was agreed to work on a memorandum of understanding (The General Framework) between Hebron University and the University of Poitiers.
