HU College of Medicine students complete optional internship at Dicle University in Turkey

Hebron University College of Medicine exchange students completed an optional internship at Dicle University in Diyarbakir, Turkey. The internship was conducted under the mentorship of Dr. Bisan Abu Zahra, an RA and TA at HU College of Medicine, and the guidance of the Faculty of Medicine at Dicle University.

The participating students (Anas Zahida, Omair Bseiso, Manar Makhamra, and Marah Diriya) and their mentor met with Dicle University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Karakoç, thanked him for facilitating student exchange, and presented him with a shield from Hebron University as an expression of gratitude to Dicle University for the internship.

During their visit, the students and their mentor met also with the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. İlker Kelle, and expressed their contentment with the internship at Dicle University. They indicated a need for increased academic collaboration, student exchange, and postgraduate opportunities for HU College of Medicine graduates and faculty.
