HU College of Information Technology Hosts 2024 PCPC
The College of Information Technology at Hebron University hosted the 2024 Palestinian Collegiate Programming Contest (PCPC), held this year across two locations: Birzeit University and Hebron University. This dual-campus setup aimed to ease access for participating teams from across the West Bank, with sponsorship from the Ministry of Higher Education and financial support from Gaza Sky Geeks.
A total of 45 teams representing universities throughout Palestine, including the Gaza Strip, competed in this prestigious event. Of these, 12 teams earned the distinction of advancing to the Africa and Arab Collegiate Programming Championship (ACPC), which will take place in Egypt.
In addition to the PCPC, the College of Information Technology annually organises the Hebron Code Jam in April, bringing together Palestinian universities in a collaborative and competitive celebration of coding excellence.
