HU College of Science and Technology Hosts “Explore and Inspire” Scientific Day
In collaboration with the Palestinian Child Arts Center, the College of Science and Technology at Hebron University hosted the Scientific Day, "Explore and Inspire," on Thursday, November 21, 2024. This event, part of the "Ambassadors for the Environment" program, provided students with a hands-on learning experience at the Wadi Al-Qaf Nature Reserve.
The event included a tour where students learned about the reserve’s history and ecological significance, guided by experts from the Environment Quality Authority. Participants engaged in workshops on environmental data collection and analysis, followed by a volunteer activity aimed at improving the reserve’s environment.
The day concluded with a discussion on the outcomes and ideas for future environmental projects, encouraging students to submit their proposals. The event aimed to raise environmental awareness, teach practical research skills, and promote volunteerism and social responsibility.
The "Explore and Inspire" initiative was a significant step towards empowering youth to better understand and contribute to the protection of the Palestinian environment, underscoring Hebron University’s commitment to sustainability and natural resource preservation.
