n collaboration with the Independent Commission for Human Rights (ICHR), the Media Department of Hebron University held a workshop titled "The Legal Journalist" for over 30 senior media students and graduates to enhance their legal reporting skills. 

 

The Chair of HU Media Department, Dr. Saeed Shaheen, stressed the importance of legal journalism in fostering justice and equality within society.

 

Led by experts including Mr. Majeed Masalha, Mr. Bilal Al-Malah, and Anas Al-Bawatneh, the two-day workshop covered topics such as national laws, court reporting, international humanitarian law, and human rights agreements. 

 

The workshop also focused on ethical reporting of legal violations, public freedoms, and genocide. 

 

The training workshop concluded with participants producing media content aligned with legal and human rights standards.
