The Media Department at Hebron University has won first place in the "Right to Access Information" competition, organized by An-Najah National University in collaboration with Oslo Metropolitan University, Norway. The media departments of Palestinian universities participated in the competition.

Students Omar Al-Jaabari and Raed Al-Sharif represented Hebron University under the supervision of Professor Salah Abu Hassan. Their submission, a short awareness film titled "Information is Protection," highlighted the critical role of access to information in fostering transparency and promoting social responsibility.

Dr. Saeed Shaheen, Head of the Media Department, expressed immense pride in this accomplishment. He emphasized that the achievement reflects the outstanding creativity and dedication of the department's students and faculty. Dr. Shaheen also reaffirmed the department's commitment to nurturing young talents and empowering them to contribute meaningfully to their communities.
