The College of Nursing at Hebron University, in collaboration with the Family Planning Foundation, held a workshop addressing violence against women for students of the Health Promotion and Therapeutic Communication course.

The workshop featured Lama Awad, a social worker, who outlined the definition and types of violence, and Mohammed Abu Arish, the Foundation’s Youth Activities Officer, who discussed the causes of violence and gender concepts.

Mai Awad, a lawyer, concluded the session by presenting the integrated transformation program and laws addressing violence in Palestine.
