Hebron University Participates in the University Day Organized by Beit Ummar Girls’ Secondary School
Hebron University participated in the activities of the University Day held by Beit Ummar Girls’ Secondary School run by the Directorate of Education of North Hebron. It included a large number of secondary school students and their families in the town of Beit Ummar. The activity was sponsored by the Director of the Directorate of Education in North Hebron and in the presence of the mayor and council members of Beit Ummar Municipality, the region of Fatah Movement in North Hebron and with the participation of a number of Palestinian universities and non-governmental institutions.
The hall devoted to Hebron University was visited by Mr. Bassam Tahboub and the accompanying delegation. He talked about his pride in being one of the former students of the University and about the academic and building development attained by the University at the homeland level..
Mrs. Benan Salah from the Admissions and registration Department and Mrs. Muna Irzeqat from the Public Relations Department participated by presenting a detailed explanation about the establishment of the University , the stages of its development and the faculties , specializations and the academic programs taught in it as well as the topics which interest the students and which are available in the Students’ affairs Department such as athletic, cultural and artistic activities and cooperative work represented in serving the society.
All the questions and queries put by the students and their families were answered. Special bulletins about the University were distributed to help the students know the specializations which suit their desires and inclination in learning.
