The Palestinian Society Elects the Chairman of the Political Science Department as Its Head

The chairman  of the Political Science Department at Hebron University, Dr.’Imad Al-Bishtawi was  elected as the first head of the Palestinian Society for Poltical Science  after the first meeting held by the administrative  body of the Society  consisting of Dr. ‘Imad Al-Bishtawi, Dr. Ahmad Abu-Dayyeh, Dr. Mukheimer Abu-Sa’ada, Dr. Yousef Breigheith, DR. Ayman Yousef, Dr. Ahmad Fares  Odeh and Mr. ‘Imad Ghayadhah.

After the meetin, the post were distributed  among members of the administrative body whereby  Dr.’Imad Al-Bishtawi was elected  as head of the Society, Dr. Ahmad Abu-Dayyeh vice president, Dr. Mukheimer Abu-Sa’ada secretary and Dr. Yousef Breigheith  treasurer. Among the goals  which the Society seeks to achieve  are developing the scientific political thought, working on developing it and activating it , giving the opportunity for  workers in the domain of the interests of the Society to contribute in the scientific progress in this domain, facilitating the exchange of scientific production and scientific ideas  in the domain of political science among  the relevant bodies and institutions in Palestine  and abroad and undertaking studies to upgrade the level of performance  in the domains of the specialization of the Society  in the different institutions and bodies.

Membership will be open to persons who fulfill the conditions of the Society , knowing that the founders of the Society are professors of political science at Palestinian universities.
