An-najah National University Grants Hebron University President An-Najah Award of Research in Humanities

 

Professor Maher al-Natsha, Acting President of An-Najah National University, granted An-Najah award for Research in Humanities to Prof. Ahmad Atawneh, Hebron University President. The research titled: "The Discourse of War in the Middle East: Analysis of Media Reporting".

Professor Maher al-Natsha presented a certificate of appreciation and the award to Professor Atawneh in appreciation of his efforts in the field of scientific research. Al-Natsha stated that, due to pioneering role and research position, an-Najah University kept on granting the award which became an annual scientific event for the university, deanship of scientific research, and all academicians in all Arab universities so as to encourage the environment of scientific research.

In his turn, Prof. Atawneh, along with a delegation included the Director of Excellence Center, Dean of Faculty of Science, Public Relations Director, and Professor Atawneh's family, thanked an-Najah National University for their great hospitality.

Both sides also discussed the horizons of mutual academic cooperation.

The ceremony of granting the award was attended by Professor Walid Swaileh, Dean of Scientific Research at an-Najah National University, Khalid Mifleh, Acting Director of Public Relations, and Dr. Mohammad al-Amleh, VP for academic affairs.
