DAAD Organization Visits Hebron University

Professor Ahmad Atawneh, University President, received in his office Head of DAAD organization Mr. Kastar Carstin and a delegation from the organization in the presence of Dr. Sami Adwan, Vice President for Academic Affairs.

At the very outset, Professor Atawneh thanked Mr. Kaster for the visit and praised the efforts exerted by the DAAD represented in offering various scholarships and for all academic degrees.

Dr. Adwan elaborated on the future projects represented in the academic exchange between Hebron University and other German Universities.

Mr. Carstin mentioned the DAAD activities that include offering scholarships for both Masters and Doctorate levels. He also asserted his quest to increase Palestine's share from the German grants and scholarships in the academic visits and cooperation in the scientific research.

On the sidelines of the meeting, the organization conducted an orientation session of the scholarships attended by a number of interested students and academic staff members.

At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed the necessity of continuing the cooperation and supporting mutual activities so as to boost the academic atmosphere.
