Minister of Higher Education Visits Hebron University

 

Dr. Salah Al-Zarou, President of Hebron University, received the Minister of Higher Education Prof. Khawla Al-Shakhshir together with the Assistant Undersecretary of the ministry, Dr. Anwar Zakaria during their friendly visit to the university that aimed at strengthening cooperation between the university and the Ministry of Higher Education.
At first, Dr. Zarou welcomed the minister and the delegation and delivered the greetings of Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Nabil Al-Jaabari, thanking her for this valuable visit.

The minister carefully was briefedabout the university, its development, challenges and the newly open colleges and departments. She then toured the university campus and facilities including the Media Centre, Radio Alam and the Legal Clinic where she was received by the Dr. Motaz Qafisheh, Dean of the College of Law, and faculty. Finally, the minister visited the Pharmacy College where she was received by Dr. Tawfiq Al-Qemari, the Dean, and the teaching staff.

In her turn, the minister thanked Hebron University for the warm welcome, extolling the pioneering role by the university creating well-informed generation of young people. She also praised the high academic level achieved by the university. Hence, she promised to provide more support to the university.
