The Faculty of Pharmacy and the Center of Excellence hold an Educational Workshop on Viruses

In cooperation with the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Center of Excellence held a scientific lecture on viruses and relevant literature in an effort to improve the academic process and scientific research.

The university hosted Dr. Maysa El-Azza, lecturer at the Al-Quds university, who worked on many researche articles on viruses.

Dr. El-Azza talked about Hepatitis, the scientific progress, methods of diagnosis and treatments regarding  the prevalent type in Palestine compared to viruses prevalent in America and other regions. She also addressed other types of viruses such as herpes, influenza and SARS.

The workshop was attended by Dr. Tawfiq Qaimari ,Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, and Dr. May AL-Maghatta ,the Director of the Center of Excellence, in addition to a group of the university's instructors and students.

At the end of the workshop, Dr. Maysa answered questions from the audience regarding these subjects.
