Excellence Centre Graduates New Teachers Group

Under the auspices of Dr. Nabil Al-Jabari, Chairman of Board of Trustees, and in the presence of the University president Dr. Salah Zarou, the Center of Excellence in Teaching celebrated the graduation of a new group of the university instructors who have joined an eight-month- training program on Modern Methods of Teaching.

Dr. May Al-Maghatheh, coordinator of the centre, started the celebration with a welcoming speech through which she talked about the important role of Dr. Nabil Al-Jabari establishing the Excellence Center and his keen interest on excellence of learning and teaching at the university. Dr. Al-Maghatheh also presented briefly the activities offered by the centre including workshops, meetings and discussions with the university teachers.

Dr. Nabil Al-Jabari talked about the necessity of having the Excellence Centre at the university. He also emphasized the importance of achieving excellence in education. Lastly, he wished the centre staff continued progress for the great influence it has in creating active and initiating individuals in the community.

At the end of the celebration, the sixteen participating teachers were given certificates.
