The University Receives Palestinian Liaison Office Delegation

Dr. Nabil Al-Jabrai, Chairman of HU Board of Trustees, received a delegation from the Palestinian Liaison Office headed by Mr. Iyad Awwad accompanied by other officials. The meeting was attended by the University's president Dr. Salah Zaro and the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Sami Odwan.

Dr. Al-Jabrai started the meeting by welcoming the delegation and expressing his appreciation for the delegation’s efforts represented in helping Palestinians getting permits and other documents. He also stressed the need for cooperation between the liaison office, citizens and the Palestinian institutions alike. This will ensure the safety and security of the Palestinians, Al-Jabari added.

In turn, Mr. Awwad expressed his appreciation of Hebron University's role graduating excellent and qualified professionals. He also stated that the office is fully willing and ready to cooperate with the university so as to serve the Palestinians.
 At the end of meeting, both sides discussed future plans that will benefit Palestinian citizens
