HU College of Finance and Administration hosts Indonesian businesswoman Yunni Widjaja



College ofFinance and Administration of Hebron University hosted the Indonesian businesswoman Ms.  Yunni Widjaja on Tuesday Feb. 23, 2016. Ms. Widjaja delivered a lecture to the students of the College of Finance and Administration about entrepreneurship and innovation in the world ofbusinessand pilot projects.She emphasized the importance ofmotivating individuals to find new ideas in the local and global markets and to lead the markets of the pilot projects.

 In addition to being a lecturerat some Indonesian universities, and a consultant for some Indonesian organizations, Ms.Widjajais also an owner of variouspilot projects in Indonesia, and an investor in some business sectors such as food, beverages, and tourism.

At the beginning ofthe meeting, Dr. Sami Adwan, HU Vice-President for Academic Affairs, welcomed  Ms. Widjaja and thanked her for sharing her experience in entrepreneurship and the possibility of having joint cooperation between Ms. Widjaja and the University, calling for opening prospects for cooperation with the Indonesian universities. Likewise, Dr. Samir Abu Zneid, Dean of the College of Finance and Administration, welcomed the guest and stressed the importance of such visits for students, which would contribute to their practical experience as well as academic knowledge. He also underscored the importance of opening and strengthening the prospects for cooperation between the College of Finance and Administration and Indonesian universities.

During the meeting with Ms.Widjaja, there was a lot of debate and dialogue between the lecturer and the audience, which had a significant impact on the deepening of the students' thoughts and perspectives about entrepreneurship.

The meeting was also attended by the Dean of Planning and Development, Dr. Salman Talahmeh, Mr. Basil Al-Qadi, a member of the Business Forum in Hebron, a representative of the Chamber of Commerce in Hebron, the Chairman of South Hebron Chamber of Commerce, and a number of representatives of local bodies and institutions. At the end of the meeting, the Dean of the College of Finance and Administration presented Ms. Widjaja  with the University Shield in appreciation of her visit to Hebron University.
