HU receives representative of the Republic of Cyprus to the State of Palestine

Chairman of Hebron University Board of Trustees, Dr. Nabil Al-Jabari, received and welcomed the representative of the Republic of Cyprus to the State of Palestine, Mr. Savvas Vladimirou, in the presence of HU President, Dr. Salah Alzaroo, HU Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Mr. Mohammed Ziad Al-Jabari, and Director of HU Liaison Office in Ramallah, Mr. Saeed Hamad.

During a meeting in his office, Dr. Salah Alzaroo had briefed Mr. Vladimirou on the march of HU progress, on the challenges and difficulties it has encountered, and on its academic mission, emphasizing the role it has played in the development of the Palestinian society.

Dr. Salah Alzaroo also talked about HU interest in cultural and academic exchanges and the possibility of establishing twins and joint ventures with the Cypriot universities.

Mr. Vladimirou expressed his country's readiness to support any proposals and projects for cooperation between HU and the Cypriot universities and people. He promised to go on discussing the prospects of cooperation between HU and the Cypriot universities. The visit was concluded with a tour of HU facilities and labs.
