HU and EFE sign Memorandum of Understanding

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, a memorandum of understanding was signed in Ramallah on August 29, 2016 between Hebron University and the foundation of Palestine Education for Employment (EFE). HU was represented by Dr. Salah al-Zaru, HU President and EFE by Mr. Mazen Sinokrot, EFE Chair.

This MoU aims to strengthen the partnership between EFE and HU and to enhance HU role in the planning and implementation of the EFE's programs, which include various teaching programs, a job search program, an entrepreneurship program and other joint programs.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Sabri Saydam, a number of presidents and representatives of Palestinian universities, and representatives from the Ministry of Labor and the private sector.

In a brief speech after the signing of the MoU, Dr. Al-Zaroo talked about the importance of the partnership between HU and the community institutions in order to advance the capabilities of the graduates as well as the role played by HU in training graduates and helping them to get jobs that are commensurate with their specialties and experience.
