Paper presented at Med-e-Tel Luxembourg conference, April 2017
Mario Macedo of Atlantica University, Portugal, with co-authors Carol Jabari and Mohammad Moreb of Hebron University had their paper entitled Towards an Improvement of Patient Safety: A Framework for Clinical Decision Support Systems presented at Med-e-Tel. This was an International Society for Telemedicine & eHealth (ISfTeH) event held in Luxembourg last week.
The paper presented a case study that includes a review of the main features of a syntax to describe clinical guidelines and a framework of concepts, methodologies, and technologies to improve the clinical decision support systems.It also presented findings of a survey of Palestinian and Portuguese health professionals about the need for computerized guidelines.
The paper has been accepted for publication in the ISfTeH journal.
