The College of Nursing at Hebron University delegated Mis. Zainab Sulieman to attend a scientific workshop entitled: Nursing Care for Children with Cancer. The workshop was held in the Faculty of Rafik Hariri of Nursing / Medical Center / Hospital of American University – Beirut,  for the period of 12/11/2011- 26/11/2011. The workshop included many valuable scientific lectures, interspersed with hours of practical application in the hospital departments in this specialty, including the emergency department, bone marrow transplantation, outpatient clinics, and the department of children oncology.

Mrs. Zainab Sulieman also met the Dean of Nursing College at AUB and discussed ways of cooperation and exchange of experiences between the two colleges, including the coordination for a number of faculty members to attend the scientific workshop at AUB again next summer.

The Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at AUB showed her willingness to study the possibility of receiving a number of qualified nurses from Hebron University to complete postgraduate and master degrees in nursing sciences at Rafik Hariri Nursing College-AUB.
