Haneen Emrizeeq: Graduate of the Department of Media Studies

Media is distinguished by its  immersive creativity as this creative profession challenges the fixed laws. It rebels against all rigid and hollowed figures.

My story simply started when I joined Hebron University (University of Martyrs).  I was young and I have rosy dreams that were only satiated by the study of the media. In five years' time, I learned a lot that cannot be summarized in a few short lines. Dr. Sa'eed Shaheen was the first to turn to my talent as he expected that I will be a strong interviewer and a good editor.

So, I worked hard to be that person;  I read ... wrote ... experienced times of fail. I traveled, got married, and  gave birth to two children. After few months, I received good news and got the job I looked for as a website news editor. I worked hard over a year and a half, but due to special circumstances I found myself forced to leave the job without despair. The press was created only to make anyone but you. 

You will inevitably think outside the box, no matter how hard you get into the labor market or violations of your rights, you will only be able to enjoy the good luck that accompanied you and made you a journalist.

Inspired by my own experience, I believe that everyone who wants to study journalism at Hebron University will find a fertile environment for creativity and excellence.
