Department of Nutrition and Food Manufacturing organizes workshop entitled "The consensual relationship between the academic sector and the need of the local market in the food industry"
The Department of Nutrition and Food Manufacturing at the College of Agriculture organized a workshop entitled "The consensual relationship between the academic sector and the need of the local market in the field of food industries" with the participation of a number of academics and representatives of major companies working in the field of food industries in Hebron governorate (Al-Junaidi Co, Qasrawi Industrial & Trading Company Ltd and Al-Jabrini Dairy Products Company, Al-Sughayer Sweets Company and a representative of the Directorate of Environmental Health in Northern Hebron.
The President of the University, Dr. Nabil Hasaneh, welcomed the distinguished guests, noted the importance of the role of the food industry in the national economy and civilization of society, and stressed the importance of such meetings to synergize the complementary relationship between university education and the labor sector.
Topics on the mechanism of cooperation between the academic education sector and food manufacturing institutions at home and the role of these institutions in developing the educational process in Palestinian universities were presented by Mr. Wisam Samar, representatives of the participating companies, and the dean of the College of Agriculture Dr. Sabri Sughayer.
