4.3.1 Public resources (lifelong learning)
The College of Professions and Applied Sciences led a workshop in cooperation with the Directorate of Education entitled “Spending Quality Time with Children.” The workshop included how to make dolls and clay for kindergarten children, and the importance of spending quality time with the child.
The Department of Plant Production and Prevention at the College of Agriculture at Hebron University, in cooperation with the Cooperative Society of Palm Growers in Jericho, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture, and the Palestinian Palm Council, organized scientific lectures on palm cultivation in Palestine.
3- Hebron University hosts the Turkish YOS exam
The YÖS exam is an exam taken by students wishing to complete their university studies in Turkish universities. It was held for the first time at the university in Palestine and is a basic condition for admission to Turkish public universities. The YoS exam consists of questions in mathematics, logic, intelligence, and topics in geometry.
As part of the activities of the Erasmus Plus “Summer School” program, the Faculty of Sharia at Hebron University hosted a scientific delegation from the European University Flensburg in Germany.
The scientific forum lasted for three days, from Monday, 7/25/2022, to Wednesday, 7/27/2022. Two sessions were held each day, and participants from the two universities presented their scientific papers.
The Center of Excellence and the Graduate Unit held the first meeting of the English for Freelancers course, which targeted university students and graduates from various specializations, in cooperation with the Language Center, the English Department at the university, the British Council, and the Gaza Sky Geeks group.
Hebron University, in cooperation with the French Consulate in Jerusalem, held the international Delf-Dalf exam in the French language for four days at the French Language Resource Center.
The activities of the STEAM project were concluded at Hebron University with the participation of the four education directorates in the Hebron Governorate (Central Hebron Education, South Hebron Education, North Hebron Education, Yatta Education), which began on Sunday, March 27, and concluded on Thursday, March 31, where 80 male and female students from the four directorates participated.
